Description

This 18- question (25-part), auto-grading, digital and printable homework assignment uses Google Forms to provide students with practice working with polynomial functions. Students will:

  • Identify polynomials that are/ are not written in standard form
  • Classify Polynomials by degree and number of terms
  • Determine end behavior (uses "up and up", "down and up", etc. terminology- feel free to edit this section to fit your needs)
  • Describe the graph of a cubic function using end behavior, turning points, and increasing/ decreasing intervals)
  • Given a graph of a polynomial function, determine the sign of the leading coefficient and determine whether the degree is even or odd.

I have also provided a one page double-sided "worksheet" that includes all of the questions on the Google Form so that students can write out each problem in an organized manner and save to use as a study aide. Just assign digitally and/ or print + go!
