SS.6.W.1.AP.1 :Use timelines to identify chronological order of historical events

This is an introductory timeline lesson for 6th grade World History. This resource is for special education students.

Included in this product:

• Notes included with the slides at the bottom but of course these are optional ideas for how to move along the lesson
• Timeline worksheet for all three learning levels (visuals included for Level 1 & 2)
• Choice Boards: Color and Black & White option (visuals for students to use when responding to questions)

Learning Levels

Level 1: Participatory students who require significant support. May respond using eye gaze, prompting, visuals or matching.

Level 2: Supported students who can complete activities with guidance and visuals. May require verbal or gestural prompting.

Level 3: Independent students. For students who are able to complete tasks individually or with supported independence. This level is intended for students who need the least amount of support in the classroom.

Please keep in mind these resources are intended for special education learners that require support regardless of their level.
