Description

This flyer is to be cut up into six pieces and every student is to be given a sheet to fill out at the beginning of the year. It's an introduction slip in which they put their preferred name (and encouraged verbally to put their preferred pronouns) in each scenario. This is to help students who solely go by nicknames, students who don't go by their first name (either for cultural reasons, for pronunciation reasons, or even personal preference), and especially for students who are gender diverse. This lets you know how to refer to the student to their parents, around their fellow peers, and when talking to them one-on-one. When collecting these sheets, I would collate the data into a private spreadsheet (google sheets template) to help keep track in case the individual slips are lost.
