This is the lab I utilize with the students at the beginning of the year when going through the steps of the scientific method. Students will conduct an engaging Senses Reaction Time Lab and from this lab and the other materials provided (outlines + teachers guide) learn how to and write an official lab report. This Senses Reaction Lab takes a class period to complete and gather data for.

Students will conduct this lab with their partner, review the scientific method in the process and learn how to turn their lab information into an official lab report.

I use this product for my middle school science students. I conduct this lesson after teaching the scientific method. Can easily be modified for younger and older students.
