Let’s be real, the Linux operating system can be confusing, even if you are comfortable with technology. However, it makes up a great deal of the technology that surrounds us and our students who are growing up in an increasingly technological world.

This beginner Linux lesson includes slides and speaker notes that will introduce students to the essential vocabulary and history to understand the background of the operating system. This lesson also includes an activity for students to explore essential (and fun!) terminal commands, and the activity guide for students to note their findings.
