Introduction to Geometry Vocabulary: This zip file contains 3 files: a geometry vocabulary worksheet, a PowerPoint Vocab Triangle game and a Smart Notebook Vocab Triangle game.
The worksheet DOES NOT have a word bank because I find students just count the number of letters and don't use their knowledge of the words. When completed correctly, the letters down the center will spell "Top 'O The Morning To You". This makes it easy for you to check!
The two vocab games are identical, but one is for PowerPoint and the other is for Smart Notebook. I prefer the Smart Notebook version, but wanted to include a version for those who do not have access to Smart Notebook. The game is played like the old game show $250,000 pyramid. I usually have one student sit in the front facing the class. The class then works together to give them clues to guess the vocab words. For the Smart Notebook file a student can move the blocks to uncover the words as the guesser gets them right. I also like to add the timer in Smart Notebook, but didn't add it in the product because I'm not sure about the copyright usage on it. But I definitely use the timer in my classroom!
For the PowerPoint version I have it set up to uncover the next word with every click. So you can have a student (or you) can click whenever the guesser guesses a word. My students really enjoyed all of these activities and I hope yours do, too!
