Students answer basic questions involving logarithms in this engaging, self-checking, no-prep circuit activity. The answer key is included.

How does a circuit work?
- Students begin with the problem in the top left. They answer the question and find the answer somewhere else and write “2” in the blank.
- Students then solve *that* problem, find the answer and write “3” in the blank and so on until they have solved every problem and returned to the beginning.
Types of questions include:
- Converting from exponential form to logarithmic form
- Converting from logarithmic form to exponential form
- Simplifying a logarithmic expression without a calculator
- Solving simple logarithmic equations in the form log_= where ,, and are rational numbers
