USING NUMBER LINES & GRAPHING PAPER FOR MEASUREMENT

  • Units (when we don't know measurement)
  • Square Units
  • Why it's important to label units!!
  • Representing real-world objects on graphing paper (intro)

USE:

We used this in the beginning of our area unit with sixth graders, to fill in some gaps such as what dimensions actually mean and how to represent real-world objects on graphing paper.
