This is a fun way for students to learn the terms from chapter one of the Medical Terminology textbook! Students unscramble medical terms and decode a message at the end of the puzzle. Use this puzzle for some class competition --- either individually or in pairs with a some reward such as candy or extra credit points. It's also a great tool to prepare students for the chapter test as a class assignment or for homework.
The puzzle includes such terms as erythrocyte, pathologist, appendectomy, and rhinoplasty. The answer key is included.
