Description
These task cards are intended to introduce strip diagrams with multiplication and division problems. It gives them a chance to look at a strip diagram and evaluate what are possible equations that could fit with that diagram.
As a teacher, you can use these as multiplication or division strip diagrams. You can have the students write the equations, or the fact families that go with them.
They are simple fact families, meant to introduce the idea of strip diagrams with multiplication and division before moving onto word problems.
These can be used with number sense, scoot around the room, station work, or small group instruction.
