Introduce students to the function rules and graphs of piecewise functions using this Introduction to Piecewise Functions Note Guide | Visualize with cut and paste! This resource provides guidance as students begin to interpret piecewise function rules. With this new understanding, students are then given a hands-on opportunity to create the graphs of piecewise functions by putting together the correct "pieces" described by the piecewise function rules. These piecewise functions contain "pieces" that are linear or quadratic functions.
