Provide your advanced high school / AP Literature students with a detailed introductory poetic analysis lesson for analyzing elements of structure in poetry. Not only will students become familiar with basic poetry structures, but they will also learn how structural shifts, juxtapositions, and conflicts help to shape a poem's messages and themes. Not only does this poetry analysis lesson contain over 50 slides jammed packed with content, but students will also be engaged in multiple annotating and practice opportunities throughout to help solidify their learning!
