Description

This bundle includes the following separate MS PowerPoint (PPT) slide packs:

  • Part 1 - Probability - Simple Events Solution Summary
  • Part 2 - Probability - Sample Spaces Solution Summary
  • Part 3 - Probability - Fundamental Counting Principle
  • Part 4 - Probability - Compound (Independent and Dependent) Events
  • Part 5 - Probability - Theoretical and Experimental Events
  • Part 6 - Probability - Mutually Exclusive and Overlapping Compound Events

I use each of these slide presentations when first introducing the specific probability topic in my 7th, 8th, 9th Grade, Math 2 and Algebra 1 and 2 classes. Each one includes detailed steps on how to solve each specific topic and numerous, completed examples are provided for each topic to promote student understanding. The MS PPT resources noted above are highly animated slidepacks that are designed to keep the students alert and focused. They include detailed solution steps to assist the students in their understanding of the topic under review.

A more complete description of the topics covered in each of the PPT slidepacks listed above is provided with the individual slidepack included on my TpT page.

A total of 186 PPT slides are included in this bundle.

The price of this bundle of products is deeply discounted compared to purchasing them all individually.

Other MS PPT products for Math 1, Math 2, Math 3, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry and PreCalculus curriculum topics can be reviewed and purchased under my TpT page titled: "Priceless Math".

Understand that the probability of a chance event is a number between 0 and 1 that expresses the likelihood of the event occurring. Larger numbers indicate greater likelihood. A probability near 0 indicates an unlikely event, a probability around 1/2 indicates an event that is neither unlikely nor likely, and a probability near 1 indicates a likely event.
Approximate the probability of a chance event by collecting data on the chance process that produces it and observing its long-run relative frequency, and predict the approximate relative frequency given the probability. For example, when rolling a number cube 600 times, predict that a 3 or 6 would be rolled roughly 200 times, but probably not exactly 200 times.
Develop a uniform probability model by assigning equal probability to all outcomes, and use the model to determine probabilities of events. For example, if a student is selected at random from a class, find the probability that Jane will be selected and the probability that a girl will be selected.
