This lesson includes an original 2-page reading. The reading is neatly divided into 4 sections that cover the causes, events, and effects of the Renaissance. Students follow along answering document-based questions with their worksheet as they read. These questions are answered using the "RACES" model - Restate the questions, Answer the question, Cite & Explain the evidence Summarize. The worksheet explains how to do it!

This lesson can be done independently, so it would work well for subs or a day you need to catch up on other tasks! It is print and go, so no prep work.

It also has a key for easy grading.
