Description

This PowerPoint includes three videos about reptiles, multiple riddles that allow students to use their inferencing skills to determine what type of reptile is being described, and several different pictures of reptiles.

It starts with an introduction to what classifies and animal as a reptile, then students will go through the riddles trying to determine what animal is being described. (Lizard, Chameleon, Snake, Crocodile, and Turtle). Once the students learn about the crocodile there are several following slides that explain the differences between a crocodile and an alligator and students can then look at several pictures and use their new knowledge to determine if it is a picture of a crocodile or an alligator.

This is a great introduction to the topic of reptile in the classroom, it is an engaging and fun PowerPoint that will allow students to learn many facts about reptiles while also seeing them in action in several videos and pictures.
