1) Scientific method review quiz via google form. Allows teachers to access knowledge of students' understanding of the scientific method in a convenient format. Community building questions are included in this assessment on the scientific method key components.
2) Lab report for students to connect the scientific method to their own future career goal. Incorporates community building and student's real-world application of the scientific method. It is important students have access to the internet to research colleges that would be a good fit if that is applicable to their future goal.
3) Partial lab report for students to connect the scientific method to their own academic challenge they want to work on. Incorporates community building and student's real-world application of some of the scientific method steps: introduction, procedure, and materials. It is important students have access to the internet to research ways they can get better at their challenge.
4) Scientific Method Investigation connecting Among Us to the scientific method. Lab report completed connected to an Among Us investigation with interview scripts included in the assignment.
5) Concise scientific lab report for Newton's Laws of Motion. This scientific lab report activity connects Newton's Laws of Motion to the egg drop experiment. This scientific egg drop lab report allows students to create a protection suit for their egg drop and incorporate Newton's Laws into their lab report.

On this scientific method quiz, there is a helper CER question with sentence stems included and a real-life application component.

This lab report helps students to prepare for their future career goal while practicing the steps of writing a structured lab report.
3) Scientific method partial lab report for students to complete and apply to their academic challenge. This allows students to prepare for their future while practicing the steps of writing components of a lab report. A rubric and example response is included for this lab report assignment.
4) Scientific method lab report connected to the Among Us game. Interview scripts are provided and students and need to figure out who the imposter is to protect their classmates. Students engage in scientific inquiry for the Among Us game they enjoy when students go back to school.
5) Scientific lab report for the egg drop connected to Newton's Laws of Motion. A back-up activity is included in this egg drop scientific lab report on page 3 with the reference website in case students are not being safe with the materials.
Setting: Can be completed in a virtual or in-person setting.
Usage: Can be used for a scientific method unit, beginning of the year when going back to school, mid-year, end of the year, review, or whenever works best.
