How do I use Color by Numbers activities?

These color by numbers activities are print and go/low prep! I suggest printing the student answer worksheet and coloring page back to back.

Color by Numbers are an easy and fun way to review or to leave for a sub. Coloring also has the added benefit of reducing anxiety and helps students stay focused. My students usually take one 50-minute class period to complete them and they look great on your walls for Open House.

Because I know that students are tech savvy and can easily find answer keys online, the actual color-coded key is not shown in the thumbnail. The colors you see in the thumbnail have been modified. The correct full color answer key is included when you download the resource.

Note: While the activities use only 12 colors, they were designed using the 24 pack of coloring pencils from the well-known yellow and green brand whose name is synonymous with crayon. If students do not have access to this brand/size, you/they can substitute colors as needed. Usually what I tell students is to simply cross out the color on the answer page and write down the color they used
