The lessons in this unit cover basic geometry vocabulary, such as points, lines, segments, rays, and planes. Angles are covered as well, as are special types of angles including vertical angles, supplementary angles, and complementary angles. Perpendicular, parallel, and skew lines are defined. There is a lesson on classifying triangles. There is also a lesson on defining and identifying polygons, and a discussion on similar and congruent figures.
