Description
Students use compositions of functions to verify inverse functions, match graphs of functions with the graphs of their inverse functions, show algebraiacally that one function is, in fact, the inverse of the other, use tables of values to check if a function has an inverse, evaluate visually whether a functions has an inverse based on the graph, graph functions on a graphing calculator to visually evaluate whether it has an inverse, calculate inverses of functions and graph the orginal function as well as its inverse on the same set of axes, and independently calculate the inverse of a function (if it exists).
