Description
I use this worksheet as an opener/bell ringer after introducing the concept of inverses. I have included an example problem so students know what to do when there is a variable. Students need to understand what operation is occurring between a number and a variable in order to prepare them for solving equations. This is an important foundational skill to solving equations. There are two pages of the same opener/bell ringer so you can print two to a page.
