Description
Your students will love identifying Functions with this fun Digital Anagram Math Activity. Using Google Sheets, students will work their way through 16 problems deciding if a given relation is a function or not (given tables, graphs, ordered pairs, and mapping).
In this activity, students will complete 16 questions and type their answers in. If they are correct, the answer will turn green, and they will receive a word. They can then rearrange the letters of that word to create another word (anagram). If the students unscramble the word correctly, it will turn green and they will receive a digital sticker of that word. If they are incorrect the box will turn red and they will not receive a word and may try again. This makes for a perfect self-checking activity!
Also included is a printable student recording sheet with all 16 questions - this can be used to show working out or as a back-up if a student loses their computer privilege.
This is a great resource for your Google Classroom - just make a copy for each student to work independently in class or by distance. Google Sheets saves student work automatically, so students will not lose progress if time runs out!
Answer key is included!
Perfect for:
- Classwork
- Homework
- Self-checking activity
- Early Finisher
- Math Stations
