Description

Your students will love determining if a given relationship is a function or not in this fun, printable partner activity. This is a great introduction to functions resource that I used to show students that every input only has one output.

Multiple representations! Identify functions from tables, graphs, and set of coordinate points.

Have a look at the thumbnails and preview file to get a better idea of what this resource looks like.

Great for:

  • Review
  • Partner Work
  • Cover lessons
  • Extra Practice
  • CCSS: 8.F.A1

Instructions:

1.Divide students into pairs

2.Give “Partner A” sheet to one student and “Partner B” to the other. The questions are different!

3.Partners will work independently to solve the problems and place the resulting symbols at the top of the page, according to the directions.

4.Once completed, the two partners will line up their pages. The symbols will match, if all answers are correct!
