Winter STEM Challenges Bundle

Everything you need to have an amazing January filled with Winter STEM Challenges! Build a Polar Bear Den. Create a Penguin Raft. Celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. Day and build a podium. Design a Snowflake! Students love completing these winter activities!

This product includes 4 Winter STEM challenges. For each challenge, students receive a letter explaining the challenge and a list of materials.

The Engineering Design Process:

Students plan, design, and execute their own ideas. After they have completed their activity, there is time for reflection on what worked and what didn't. They follow the six step Engineering Design Process: Ask, Imagine, Plan, Create, Experiment, Improve.

  • white pipe cleaners
  • cotton swabs
  • popsicle sticks

  • various sized marshmallows

  • a small bucket of water

My favorite bundles to utilize with my gifted students. I purchase these monthly depending on our unit of study. We do a day of researching a provided topic included in the bundle, and complete the STEM the following day. Love this resource
