Jenga Math is a super-fun way to review math skills while keeping everyone involved and engaged! To play, the teacher opens the digital Jenga tower app (linked on slide 2) on a laptop and sets it aside. Then the teacher breaks the class into 2 teams. The teacher displays the Jenga Math Google slidedeck. The class starts on slide 3 which poses the first math question which all students will attempt to solve. Once ample time has been given, the teacher randomly selects a student from each team to share their answer. If they are correct, their team is safe. If they answer incorrectly, they must pull a block from the digital Jenga tower! The game continues until someone collapses the Jenga tower. The team that does not collapse the Jenga tower is the winner! The game also includes potential bonus/sabotage slides. For example, "If either student selected to share their answer is incorrect, they must pull a Jenga stick with their opposite hand" or "If either student selected to share their answer is correct, they earn a safe pull (can be used to avoid having to pull a stick later in the game) for their team".

The math focus built into this Jenga Math slidedeck focus on solving 1 & 2-step equations and inequalities but you could absolutely make a copy and add your own content!
