Description
This is a complete set of questions (88) to provoke and test students' learning when studying the film Jojo Rabbit by Taika Waititi.
I have divided the film into 4 parts/episodes, each of which is 20 - 30 minutes long. This enables me to show a part in class and then follow up with the associated questions.
Some of the questions are basic fact-finding. Others require students to understand why characters act in a particular way, or say specific things. Many seek opinions from students on action or character, and encourage them to justify those opinions. In total there are 88 questions, with some having multiple parts.
To make the handout look interesting and to help students focus, I have included stills from the movie. It's a 6 page handout for students. As a Word document, you can edit to suit your class.
Depending on the student body (weak, strong, EAL etc...), the questions could be used as written work in class or at home, or to kick off discussions.
This is quite a challenging activity. If students can answer these questions, they will have an excellent understanding of the movie.
The answer key is included (7 pages).
The preview file contains some of the first questions for the film. Even if you don't purchase this product, this will give you a useful task with which to start your study of this great movie.
