Description

Advanced English LitGuides provide a complete approach to advanced English instruction. This is one of 27 self-contained novel or play units that include a unit guide, lesson building strategies, support literature, plot/style quizzes, close-reading passages, AP style essays and tests, and examples of student work. Also included is a folder or folders of teaching strategies. These guides are available in .docx format so you can adapt them as you see fit.

Julius Caesar is my go-to Pre-AP introduction to Shakespeare. It is full of action, challenging, but accessible. I provide a "Shakespeare Strategies" folder that includes "Diary of an Elizabethan Boy on a Trip to the Globe Theatre to see Julius Caesar" which I wrote in college many, many years ago.
