This resource includes writing template pages with prompts for the entire month of July. This ensures lots of choice for students (what they’d like to write about) and for teachers (if you’d like to assign pages).
These stationery pages will help your students generate LOTS of ideas for their writing...no more drumming fingers on desks, waiting for inspiration...and can be used in a writing center, as part of your writing curriculum, for daily journal writing, for fast finishers, as homework, or for whatever you wish!
This unit includes writing prompts and templates that will provide practice with various types of writing, including
- opinion
- narrative
- informational
- creative writing
- seasonal acrostic poetry
Checklists on the bottom of the page remind students if they have included important components in their writing eg. I used punctuation, I provided closure, etc. This can help during the editing process, whether by self, peer, or the teacher.
Learning standard checklists for Common Core, TEKS, and VA SOL are included.
