Grade Levels: K–3 (varied expectations by grade)
Lesson Length: 30–45 minutes
Unit Length: 2–3 weeks (1–2 days per belt attempt)
Equipment:
- Class set of jump ropes (varied sizes)
- Belt Level Station Cards (laminated)
- Cones for station setup
- Stickers or paper wristbands for belts
- Tracking chart or individual Ninja Passports

🥷 Lesson Objectives
Students will:
- Practice jump rope control and rhythm.
- Demonstrate grade-level appropriate jump counts.
- Set goals and persevere through challenges.
- Progress through ninja belt levels at their own pace.
- 🧭 How It Works
Students rotate through Belt Test Stations posted around the gym.
Each station:
- Shows belt color
- Lists required skill
- Lists required jump count
- Has visual cues (for K-1 support)
Students:
- Practice at a station.
- Ask teacher to test when ready.
- Earn sticker/belt if successful.
- Move up when ready.
Students may retry belts on different days.
