Attention online Kindergarten Teachers (Special Mention to my fellow FDK Ontario peeps!) Online teaching is HARD....here's one less thing for you to do!
Choice Boards are a powerful asynchronous learning tool that many educators use in their distance learning classrooms. These ready to go, no-prep choice boards are here to save you precious time. This pack comes with 2 different choice boards (different activities, not just different looking), each featuring 8 high-quality off screen activities for your students and their families. Post a choice board in your virtual classroom and your asynchronous work for the week (or even 2!) is DONE. Students can complete the tasks that appeal to them, and send in photos if they like. Choice boards are also PERFECT for giving to students who are unable to come to school while they are isolating, etc, OR great for easy supply teacher days!
All activities are designed specifically with play-based learning in mind, and are intended to be completed alongside a family member. Zero worksheets, 100% engaging learning opportunities. Due to the nature of these activities, some materials are required...but nothing special. Most rely on common household materials, and all activities are editable so you can swap one out if you don't like it or it doesn't suit your students' needs or interests.
June Choice Boards are lightly inspired by the summer, but these activities will work no matter what the weather is where you live...just a fun way to welcome the changing seasons.
