Description
K-2 Balanced Numeracy Math Levels
I have taken K-2 Common Core Standards,
Kathy Richardson Developing Number
Concepts, and Investigation Curriculum and
created Math Levels for K-2.
I use these levels in my classroom to teach
Balanced Numeracy. Balanced numeracy is a
math block/period that I have created to
mirror Balanced Literacy.
Using this package you will be able to assign each student an independent math level at which they can work independently on. I have included what this might look like during your math block in your classroom.

Great!
This is great for using AMC!
This is a good resource to use to help students work within their instructional/independent levels. You mentioned a "quick assessment" that you have available on TPT, but I can't find it! I'd love to look at it (as an instructional coach helping other teachers make grouping decisions). Thanks for using Kathy Richardson! So awesome!
This is a great resource, but I feel that I would utilize it more if the activities would be included. Having access to the games or a list of games for each standard would be great to help me get organized.
This is a great way to organize math stations and to see how kids are progressing.
I am a math coach and use this so much! Thanks!
Loved the levels
I love the idea and it encouraged me to expand on it. However, I wish the activities or sample activities were available for each level.
I will let you know as soon as they are available.
