Keywords in Basic Math Word Problems
Share

Description

This is a practice sheet that I used for my SPED kids to practice identifying keywords. Most keywords usually fall in a certain category. It gives them a chance to have a place to START instead of always guessing. I've used this as an IEP goal, class assignment, and/or a quiz. All they do is write the word underneath the appropriate column and mark it off. This will help build their problem solving skills.

I love learning tools like this that help students identify keywords in word problems. The only thing I would change about this tool is to create an answer key to go along with it! Thanks for the work put into this.
