These 25 digital task cards are perfect Math centre activities, involving COUNTING ITEMS (STARS) 0-20. Each correct answer, reveals a little more of the hidden picture, so there is a predicting, writing task too.

This deck is hosted on the BOOM Learning website

Great fun for Kinder and First Grade students Math centres and distance learning.

They are self-marking and allow you to track student progress: so no prep.

The resource includes:

  1. A link for you to access 25 Digital Task Cards, on the BOOM Learning℠ website. There is 1 card per slide.
  2. Some suggestions on how to use BOOM Cards™ in your classroom

These 25 cards ask students to use, count and recognise the pattern of counting fingers or hands.

  • the first is an instruction/ explanation
  • the second 2 are drag and drop, matching numerals and images
  • the next 20 are click the correct answer: students match a given number
  • A congratulations: well done slide showing the completed picture
  • a writing task, opportunity for student to explain when and how they predicted the image. Justify with clues they used.

These are digital task cards and would be great on a laptop, desktop, Chromebook, tablet, or any other mobile device that can access the internet. They can also be used on your Smart Board.
