This is a set of 30 task cards that provide practice with words that have the CVC word pattern. Each card shows a picture. The word is also given, but without the vowel. Students then decide which short vowel would complete the CVC word. These cards can be used as game cards, at literacy stations, for independent practice, or for take-home practice.
