Description

In this FUN, EDITABLE 5 lesson unit - students learn important skills that help them think like a computer.

Computational Thinking Skills are all the rage as a precursor to coding. These skills help us as we learn to interact with technology and later think about how to program it.

  • Lesson 1 - An introduction to computational thinking and DECODING
  • Lesson 2 - Problem Solving
  • Lesson 3 - An introduction to Algorithms
  • Lesson 4 - LEGO DUPLO Algorithms (You will need some LEGO or DUPLO kits with instructions for this lesson)
  • Lesson 5 - BeeBot Algorithms - Planning instructions that we use with the BeeBot App - which is available on iPads, tablets and PCs.

Each lesson comes with an editable lesson plan, a presentation, and various activities - some practical, some worksheets and some which can be completed on your students' iPad or computer device.

This has been written especially for Kindergarten students, but it could be used with students a little older too.
