Are you needing low prep guided math lessons and ready to use interactive teaching slides? This bundle currently includes over 100 lessons! Each lesson includes guided teaching slides in either PowerPoint or Google Slides to help guide you and your learners through the lesson.

The Numbers to 10, Counting and Making Sets to 10, and Comparing Sets and Numbers to 10 products include:

  • Guided lessons
  • Interactive teaching slides
  • Small group materials
  • Exit tickets
  • Worksheets

Need more information about the components of the Numbers to 10 and Counting, Making Sets to 10, and Comparing Sets and Numbers to 10 lessons?

  • Guided Lesson Plans- plans with a learning goal, standard, vocabulary, suggested supply list, whole group notes, and three differentiated small group lessons.
  • Interactive teaching slides- Slides include an I can statement, vocabulary, math talk, interactive slides, and a formative assessment check in. Many of the interactive teaching slides include moveable pieces. PowerPoint and Google Slides links are included!
  • Small Group Materials- printable resources that can be used along with the small group activities listed in the guided lesson plans.
  • Exit Tickets- perfect for students to complete after the whole group lesson. Exit tickets print 4 to a page and can be used to place students in flexible small groups. Each exit ticket aligns directly to the lesson.
  • Worksheets- each lesson contains a worksheet that contains additional practice opportunities complimenting the content in the lesson.

Sample Math Block:

Each school and classroom has different time requirements for a math block as well as different activities taking different amounts of times for learners. The guided math lessons and interactive teaching slides for numbers 1 - 10 could be used with this timing:

  • Interactive whole group slides: 10-20 minutes
  • Exit ticket (to form flexible groups): 5 minutes
  • Differentiated small groups: 30 minutes (3 ten minute rotations)
  • Worksheets can be used as independent work while students are not at the teacher table. They can also be sent home as a home connection.

Currently the addition to 10, subtraction to 10, decodable word problems, 2d shapes, 3d shapes, measurement, and sorting slides include the following:

  • Lesson overview
  • Quick warm up
  • Math talk
  • Interactive slides
  • Formative assessment check in

  • Lesson Overviews- This page includes the topic, standard, suggested vocabulary, I Can Statement, and suggested materials to use during the lesson.
  • Warm Up- A warm up question either previews the information or reviews past skills in the unit.
  • Math Talks- Math talks provide planned questions for students to discuss to encourage mathematical thinking and reasoning.
  • Interactive Slides- Each lesson is its own slide deck, either in PowerPoint or a Google Slide link. Lessons often include interactive pieces that can be moved on an interactive board. Slides also include prompts for the teacher to use as you guide your students through the lessons.
  • Formative Assessment Check Ins- Each lesson either ends with a question for students to answer or a suggestion of what teachers can look for as their students are exploring length and height, weight, and capacity of classroom items. Each lesson also has a printable checklist to keep track of student progress. Checklists align to each of the 'quick check' slides.
