Description

This PDF contains 2 placemats (task cards - to fit the size of a photo keeper box 4"x6").

2 placemat cards - each approx 4"x6" size : -

1. what shapes is this?

2. How many sides/ edges/ corners?

15 different 2D shape cards

15 different number cards

15 different shape name cards

Recommended to be printed on a cardstock paper, cut, laminated and cut again allowing some edge around the sides - for rough and prolonged use.

Tips for best use and fun activity : The children can use shape cards with popsicle sticks/ colored craft sticks with velcro attached to their ends in order to build the shape. This can be a fun filled activity to improve their fine motor skills.

ONLY for single classroom usage.

Great resource for kinesthetic learning. Hands-on and engaging! The students had to use trial and error and their knowledge of shapes to complete activities during small groups!
