Mastering Math is a series of kindergarten math centers designed to keep your students engaged and excited about math whether they are working with print or digital materials.

As this resource is currently primarily digital, these kindergarten math centers are the perfect way to integrate more technology into your math block and is great for young students who are just getting started with digital materials. Each of these activities will give students a “hands-on” experience while they are working on their math skills – just like using manipulatives in the classroom!

What is Mastering Math?

Mastering Math is a series of engaging print and digital kindergarten math centers developed to align with standards that often will include movable pieces.

What skills are covered with this kindergarten math centers bundle?

Students will work with the following concepts:

⭐ Numbers

• Fall Number Order 0-10: Students will use movable pieces to practice ordering numbers.
• Winter Number Order 0-20: Students will use movable pieces to practice ordering numbers.
• Spring Number Order 0-30: Students will use movable pieces to practice ordering numbers.

⭐ Operations

• Addition to 5 and 10: Students will represent and solve word problems with sums to 5 and 10 using digital manipulatives.
• Subtraction within 5 and 10: Students will represent and solve word problems with differences within 5 and 10 using digital manipulatives.
• Worksheets with the same problems included for both the addition and subtraction word problems.

⭐ Geometry

• Creating Composite Shapes with Pattern Blocks: Students will manipulate movable pieces to build a target shape with pattern blocks. (animals)

• Identifying 2D and 3D Shapes and Attributes: Students will complete a variety of worksheets such as sorts, charts, and color by code.

⭐ Measurement

• Non-standard Measurement: Students will manipulate cubes, links, and bears to measure the height and width of objects.
• Measure Length, Capacity, and Weight: Students will manipulate objects to demonstrate their understanding of measurable attributes.

⭐ Data Analysis

• Graphing with 2 and 3 Categories Set 1: Students will manipulate movable pieces to sort, organize, and graph data. (picture graphs)

Will more resources be added to this bundle?

There are no plans to add to the bundle currently. However, if any Mastering Math resources are added to my store in the future, they will also be added to this bundle at no additional cost to you.

What program(s) do I need for the digital portion?

This digital center was created with Google Slides™ and can be used in your Google Classroom™.

Will you have access to my Google Drive?

No! Your download comes with links for you to make a copy of each resource.

How do I access the digital versions?

The PDFs include the links to your resources.

Do I have to use all the slides?

No, just use what you need. You may find it is best to split up the activities so your students are not overwhelmed. I highly suggest creating a master copy of the original file in your Drive. Then create a copy to make any changes to (such as deleting or rearranging slides).
