Description
Hey kindergarten teachers! Need an easy and organized way to keep CCSS data? I developed this system for myself after years of struggling with a way to track what standards I'd taught and which ones I had assessed.
On each sheet on paper is a CC Math Standard with spaces for student names and scores. I simply input my students' names, print off all the standards, and keep them in a data collection binder. Then, when I teach/assess a standard for the week, I can pull out the standard form that I need, put it on a clipboard, and use it throughout the week for formative and summative assessment scores. Then I use the checklist sheet provided to check off the standard so I know I have taught/assessed it (you can make one for each student to keep track of their progress, too!).
This system can be used by printing on paper, or there are text boxes so it can be used digitally if you prefer to go paperless. You can use one set for the whole year, use one for each semester/trimester, or print off individual sheets as needed.
This made my data collection so much easier, organized, and more accurate. Then when it comes time to provide evidence or input grades, I am ready to go! I hope it helps you as much as it does me and that you can use it again year after year! Enjoy!
Included are the Kindergarten Math CCSS for:
Counting & Cardinality
Operations & Algebraic Thinking
Number & Operations in Base Ten
Measurement & Data
Geometry
*Please note that I did not include pages for the Standards of Mathematical Practice
