I use this math journal bundle in my learning centre and I really like it because it gives my students a consistent, predictable routine while still being hands-on and engaging. The cut and paste format works really well for my students, especially those who struggle with writing or need more visual and tactile activities, and it still allows them to show their understanding. I like that it covers a wide range of number sense skills like counting, number recognition, addition, subtraction, shapes, and even things like sorting and simple financial literacy, so I can use it across the whole year. The consistent layout on each page is really helpful for my students who need routine, and it makes it easier for them to build independence over time. I also like that it creates a record of their learning, which is great for tracking progress. It works well for independent work, math centers, and small group instruction, and I can easily adapt it by pre-cutting pieces or simplifying tasks when needed. Overall, it’s a really practical, flexible resource that supports a wide range of learners and fits nicely into a daily math routine.
