Model comparing objects (e.g., baskets of eggs) to demonstrate concepts like more, less, taller, shorter, bigger, smaller, heavier, lighter. Record examples on “Let's Compare” chart.

3️⃣ Guided Practice (10 min)

Project Comparing Two Things Worksheet. Complete as a class, highlighting comparison strategies and spring-themed examples.

4️⃣ Independent Worksheet Creation (20 min)

Students create their own spring-themed comparison worksheets:

• Draw at least four comparison pictures

• Write comparison questions

• Exchange worksheets with a partner for practice
