Use these simple stories and comprehension questions to help your kindergarten students become confident early readers! Practice tracking, phonics, sight words, fluency, & comprehension all on the same page!
Included are 10 stories with easy to read CVC words and Kindergarten sight words. Each story is 5 lines.
Stories include:
-2 fill in the blank/short answer comprehension questions
-2 multiple choice questions
-read and review CVC words: CVC words on the bottom of the passage for extra decoding practice!
Each story is included in 2 formats: with or without tracking dots underneath the words. Tracking dots are great to help students remember to point to each word as they read!
Choose to use these dots depending on the needs of your students.
Also included are story mats that are perfect to print on the back of the story or on another page. Story mats help students easily respond to the passages and make connections. These story mats are also great to use with any picture book or story!
