Description

Exit tickets are a quick way to assess students and see how they are progressing. You can quickly see if you need to provide some intervention or more one. They will make report cards and parent teacher conferences easy. They are a great formative assessment. They are a quick way to determine if students get the concept that you have taught or if they need to spend more time on the concept. You can use them in small group , at a related literacy center, or the entire class can do them after a whole group lesson.

Exit Tickets in the Classroom

There are two different styles of exit tickets. With one style, students find the rhyme by choosing between two pictures. With the second style, students write a word or draw a picture that rhymes with the picture .Each ticket is a half page. Each ticket assess three rhyming words. I have also included a recording sheet where you can mark which students understood the concept and which students need to be retaught.
