This is a great Kindergarten Common Core word problem book. There are 20 word problems involving situations of adding to, taking from, putting together, and taking apart.

Included in this resource is 30 different word problems and tips for solving problems. Each problem also has an empty ten frame, number line 1-10, and room for a picture for your students to use to help them solve the problems. I have included two versions: one set of problems where I have given the students the addition or subtraction symbol. The second set is the same problems, only students have to decide whether they will add or subtract and they write in the symbol.

This is a great way to have your students practicing solving various word problem situations every day. You can use it as morning work, math warm-ups, or as additional practice during addition and subtraction units. You can use them as formative assessments. You can also put them in a binder with page protectors for students to write on with dry erase markers as a math center.

This is made for a Kindergarten classroom, but it could also be adapted for a 1st grade classroom as review.
