Use these lists to check off skills as you notice students demonstrating understanding of the concept during each writing unit. Since the objectives are already typed and listed, It will allow you to save time and not have to write down individual skills for each student as you notice them mastered during conferences. Below this bulleted list is space to take notes on separate skills observed during a conference. Print one form for each unit and each student in your class and store in a conference binder.
