Description

This is a great lesson that I use to supplement my ongoing Geometry Unit. As we all know Geometry is full of terms that each student must memorize or they will not be able to understand what the teacher is talking about. I also know that geometry is very visual. I thought to myself, "Why not create physical movements that represent each term?" This has worked very well. The students love being out of their seats and remember these terms far after our Geometry section is complete. I often see them making these movements during quizzes and tests.
I give in this printable activity:
Point
Line
Line segment
Ray
Parallel
Perpendicular
Right Angle
Acute Angle
Obtuse Angle
