Kitchen math - Color by number activity

Let's practice culinary math in a fun and colorful way! Students will demonstrate practical kitchen / food math skills while getting into the Valentine's spirit.

Objective: Practice the skills needed to convert, halve, and multiply a recipe by solving kitchen math problems.

Instructions: Solve the culinary math problems. Color them in using the chart provided.

This resource includes:

  • 2 Valentine's Kitchen Measurement Equivalences worksheets
  • 2 Valentine's Halving Recipes worksheets
  • 2 Valentine's Multiplying Recipes worksheets
  • 6 total Valentine's "color by number" worksheets

Answer keys included.

These worksheets are perfect for an extension activity in your Family and Consumer Sciences (FCS, FACS) class or math class.

These were great work sheets for my granddaughter who has dyscalculia. Being able to do the math and color at the same time, really seemed to help cement concepts in her head.
