Description

This game is a hit for my third graders to practice our multiplication and division facts! We line up, half of the class vs the other half of the class, and the person at the front of both lines race to say their answer first. Whoever answers correctly first goes to the back of the line, the other student is knocked out! When the slide says pick a pal, students get to stay in and bring another friend back in, who has been previously knocked out already. This game goes until one team is all the way knocked out!

This Knock Out fact fluency game has been such a hit in my math classroom! My students absolutely love the competitive format while practicing their multiplication and division facts, and it keeps them highly engaged and focused on building speed and accuracy. It’s easy to use with minimal prep, works great for math centers, warm‑ups, or small groups, and I’ve seen real improvement in students’ fluency. Highly recommend for any grade 3‑5 classroom!
