Description

In this activity, students will

-Write the equation of a linear function and an exponential function from the same 2 points. One point will always be on the y-intercept..(0,y). Students will then always evaluate each function at x = 6 and make a general statement.

-determine if a sequence is arithmetic or geometric
-write a rule for an arithmetic and geometric sequence

Confused as to what the concluding statements should have been on the first page and why we would write both linear and exponential functions for the same data. However, there were good examples provided to practice recognizing linear data vs exponential data.
