This form is great for use as an introduction to writing lab reports and also as a reminder of what older students should be looking to do in every lab report. In middle school science, I use this form throughout the entire year, focusing on one aspect of the lab report at a time. By the time the end of the year arrives, students are able to write a complete lab report using each step in the scientific method and supporting their conclusions with their data.
