This project is a fun way to introduce students to science lab safety. This activity is meant to supplement the instruction of lab safety rules. Students will use bulletin board paper and have a partner trace around them as they lay flat on the paper. Students will then add different safety items (lab coat, gloves, goggles, etc.) to their outline, along with the safety rule that corresponds to the item. This is a great activity to hang around a science lab or outside a science room instead of using the usual lab safety posters.
